blekko

I just started to play with a new search engine called Blekko. So far it looks like it has some potential. I am growing increasingly frustrated with the current choices since you have to filter through a ton of ads and seo rankings. Sometimes you just want to find strong content. Article from NY Times… Start-ups and big companies alike have tried to take on Google by building a better search engine. That they have failed has not stopped brave new entrants. Watch the video of this motivational speaker.  I can imagine the set up on this. He has been preparing his message in his mind over and over. He is so anxious to knock it out of the park, really change some lives with what he was going to say. He was going to make an impact  [ Read More ]

Fresh Rain in Ministry Elements

Rain to me is incredibly refreshing. One of my favorite things in life is to take a walk in the rain. Having lived in the Midwest, now in Texas, I have come to appreciate the rain we would get in Seattle. It is a gentle rain, not a violent pounding such as the rain in the Midwest. When I walk I don’t wear a raincoat or carry an umbrella, I just let the rain fall on me cool and steady. My wife used to think I was clinically insane when she would walk into our kitchen and see me just  [ Read More ]
